We are proud to be supporting QPM Energy with the contract operations of the Moranbah Gas Plant. The QPME / GRPS team have been working hard to successfully implement a series of production optimisation and improvement initiatives facilitating safe and stable operations, improved field performance and zero lost time injuries.
Highlights of the project to date include:
_Strong operating performance with no lost time injuries.
_Production increase from 22.9TJ / day to current rate of ~27TJ / day.
_Growing electricity generation at Townsville Power Station (“TPS”)
_Construction of new tie in points to directly connect pre-mining gas drainage wells at the Grosvenor and Moranbah North mines.
_8 well drilling program, 100% funded under the Dyno Nobel Deferred Funding Facility, to commence around April 2024.
_Developing further third party gas sale opportunities with industrial users in the Townsville region.
